That is absolutely fine... we have no objection to your scanning of the pages to meet your layout size requirements. Good luck with your project. Recently, I've developed an interest in model railroading. Because we lived in Tucson for a while (we're in Arkansas now), and have driven through New Mexico and Arizona on our way to see our kids in Fremont and San Diego, I'm considering making a western layout. I would like to use the buildings in her "A Western Frontier Town" book, but there is a problem. The buildings were designed for an HO-scale layout (1:87); I am modeling in Z-scale (1:220). So the buildings would be much too large for my layout. Is it permissible for me to scan in the pictures from my wife's book, reduce the images with PhotoShop, and print out these images for use on my western layout? Thank you for your help.
